Stick Welder up to $30/hr +

We are presently looking for Stick Welders to join our team for our location in Whitby, Ontario.

About us:

We are a full-service, multi-trade industrial contractor. We maintain a staff of skilled trades on a constant basis of approximately 60 individuals. Over the years we have done projects all across Canada, United States of America (South America) and even in Europe.

We have an excellent crew of CWB Certified Welders. Stick, Mig,Tig, Flux core are all “Specialties of the House.” Our people are certified in all areas. Our trucks are completely equipped with electric, oxygen / acetylene, gas or diesel welders depending on the site and application.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 to 5 years of welding experience.
• Prior experience in welding mild steel and good knowledge of welding techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision
• Flexibility to work during scheduled hours. We have weekends, day and night shift for the week..

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welding of all and any mild steel within provided weld specifications
• Ensure all tasks are performed in the allotted time as provided
• Inspection of all welds to ensure conformance to specifications as well as removal of all spatters
• Basic maintenance of welding equipment, in addition to ensuring the gas and wire are properly connected
