Our company was established in 1972 as a supplier to the insulation, roofing and siding industries.  We are a wholly owned independent subsidiary of an international company which operates worldwide supplying millions of square meters of waterproofing, roofing and insulation systems around the world and employs more than 4600 employees’ world wide.

Hourly wage $31.00-36.00

 

General Responsibilities

As a professional driver you provide a key role in the company that is critical to our branch customer service goals and success. Your primary responsibility is to load orders correctly and ensure safe and on time delivery to our customer’s job sites or yards. As the last person to be in contact with our customer, another key responsibility is maintaining a great relationship with our customers.  Presenting oneself in a professional manner, introducing who you are, and serving them in a courteous manner are the responsibilities you will be measured against. Your role represents our last line of defense; ensuring we as an organization are exceeding customer expectations. As a professional driver you are responsible to ensure your truck is in compliance with all D.O.T. regulations and company policies.

 

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Contributes to team efforts by working with Sales, Purchasing and Operations, and accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ensure delivery paperwork is complete.
  • Safely load, check weight distribution, and double check your deliveries for accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times, using any applicable uniforms.
  • Drive defensively and follow all traffic laws
  • Meet and greet customers at appointed times.
  • Maintain open communication with Dispatcher.
  • Maintain a clean truck and monitor maintenance requirements.
  • Complete Driver ELD.
  • Ensure all truck documentation is up to date and in your truck.
  • Perform daily, pre and post trip, equipment and vehicle inspections, hazard assessments, and driver logs with great attention to detail.
  • Ensure all loads properly secured.
  • Work over time as required.
  • Although normal shifts are days, M- F, ALL staff must be willing to work day, evenings and weekends as a condition of employment.
  • Lift up to 80+ lbs.
  • As a crane operator you will be the company lead hand on all job sites and ultimately you are responsible for the employees assigned to you. You will be responsible for the training and compliance to safety and loading procedures for those under your direction.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Journeyman Boom Truck Operator
  • Clean CVOR Abstract
  • Valid Class 1A CDL
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • High comfort level working in a fast paced and diverse environment
