Job Duties
- Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, forming, and finishing work
- Install wood framing, plywood, blocking, and structural components
- Install millwork, doors, frames, and hardware
- Assist with concrete formwork and placement as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials with accuracy and attention to detail
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools
- Coordinate with other trades and site personnel
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all site safety procedures and company policies
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of carpentry experience in construction (industrial/commercial preferred)
- Carpentry trade certification is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Experience with concrete forming, framing, and finishing work
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physically capable of performing demanding work (lifting, standing, bending, etc.)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must have own PPE
- Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Safety Requirements
- Valid safety certifications are required
- Additional site-specific safety training may be required
Working Conditions
- Work may be indoors and outdoors
- Physically demanding tasks are required
- Project-based work across multiple job sites
