Job Duties

• Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, forming, and finishing work
• Install wood framing, plywood, blocking, and structural components
• Install millwork, doors, frames, and hardware
• Assist with concrete formwork and placement as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials with accuracy and attention to detail
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools
• Coordinate with other trades and site personnel
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all site safety procedures and company policies
• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of carpentry experience in construction (industrial/commercial preferred)
• Carpentry trade certification is considered an asset
• Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Experience with concrete forming, framing, and finishing work
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Physically capable of performing demanding work (lifting, standing, bending, etc.)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must have own PPE
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Safety Requirements

• Valid safety certifications are required
• Additional site-specific safety training may be required

Working Conditions

• Work may be indoors and outdoors
• Physically demanding tasks are required
• Project-based work across multiple job sites
