Our company is a road builder located in Red Deer, Alberta. Established in 1998, the company currently employs up to 60 employees and sub-contractors during the Alberta road building season.
We strive to be an industry leader is base construction, being extremely detail oriented.
Our company manages and implements various types of projects each year: environmental, improvement, repair and new. We work throughout the province but try to concentrate our efforts in Central, Southern Alberta.
With our fleet of over 60 pieces of equipment, we can confidently tackle most jobs in the market. Our home being based out of Red Deer, Alberta helps make us competitive in all regions of the province.

What we’re hiring for:
Flagger/Traffic Control Person within Alberta
Responsibilities:
- Review the work site on a daily basis and consult with Supervisor to understand work being conducted, and any potential hazards.
- Set up, relocate, and disassemble traffic control signage as needed
- Protect workers and the public by properly directing traffic
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of project signage and barricades,
- Communicate effectively with other traffic control workers using established signals and communication equipment
- Assist trucks in accessing and exiting work sites safely
- Remove or cover all traffic control signage at end of the day or when traffic control is complete
- Ensure a firm understanding of and comply with the principles of the company’s Health and Safety Policies
- Stay away from home for an extended period of time is required
- Work 7 days a week is required and hours per day can be 12 or more depending on the daily site work activities
- Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and be prepared for any type of weather throughout the day
- High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions

Candidates with experience and a valid Traffic Control Training certificate will be given preference.
