Full Time Day Shift Manufacturing Doors and Frames
Trusted manufacturer of high quality residential and commercial doors, who takes pride in craftsmanship reliability and a safe supportive work environment. Currently seeking a dependable General Labourer to join our production team in Oakville.
Position Overview
The General Labourer supports daily production activities including material handling assembly packaging and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. This role is ideal for someone who is hands on reliable and comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly of wood steel or fiberglass doors and frames
- Operate basic hand tools power tools and production equipment
- Measure cut sand and prepare materials as required
- Load and unload materials and move products throughout the facility
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Package label and prepare orders for shipment
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in general labour manufacturing carpentry or construction is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Reliable punctual and able to work well in a team environment
Shift and Compensation
- Full time Monday to Friday
- Day shift typical hours 700 AM to 330 PM or similar
- $18.25/hour
