CMM Programmer & Operator

Company Overview:

Our company is a well-established organization that specializes in the manufacturing of precision components and sub-assemblies for the aerospace, aircraft, military, medical, optical and defense sectors. We are looking to increase our diverse and dynamic team with the addition of skilled individuals.

 

Roles & Responsibilities / Job duties:

  • Create CMM programs using PC-DMIS software
  • Inspect products using CMM in accordance with our quality system procedures
  • Read and interpret blueprint drawings and specifications
  • Perform inspection of precision parts and assemblies to drawings and specifications (using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, shadowgraph, hardness tester, plug gauges, pin gauges)
  • Document and discuss unacceptable or nonconforming materials with internal and external parties and take corrective action, when required

 

Qualifications:

  • Well versed in Geometric Tolerances (GD&T).
  • 3+ years comprehensive CMM experience, PC-DMIS software and Quality Control.
  • CNC machining process experience an asset.
