Service Plumber

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced, qualified plumbers from around Toronto to perform emergency service on plumbing and heating systems in high-rise residential apartment buildings and commercial properties throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and address plumbing problems in high-rise apartment buildings and commercial properties (riser leaks, low water pressure, etc.)
• Clear blocked drains of various sizes using drain machines
• Install, maintain, and service plumbing fixtures (tub & showers, taps, toilets, etc.)
• Maintain and repair circulating and sump pumps
• Be on 24-hour on-call emergency service for a full week once every few weeks
• Prepare written quotes and service requisitions for office
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Maintenance, troubleshooting, and service of hydronic heating and domestic hot water systems and boilers
• Install, service, and maintain backflow prevention devices

Qualifications:

• 306A Plumbing license preferred
• Class G Ontario driver's license and clean driving record
• Minimum intermediate apprenticeship schooling completed preferred
• 3+ years of plumbing experience preferred
• Gas ticket an asset
• Backflow ticket an asset
• Good written and verbal communication skills
