Machinist / CNC Programmer / Operator

Job Description: ​

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist / CNC Programmer-Operator to join our team in Brantford, Ontario. In this role, you will play a vital part in the manufacturing process, utilizing your mechanical expertise to construct, repair, and maintain plastic injection moulds with precision and efficiency. ​

Responsibilities: ​

• Construct and repair plastic injection moulds. ​
• Focus on detailed fit, function, and assembly.
• Incorporate engineering changes, repairs, and maintenance. ​
• Perform precision machining, grinding, for dimensional accuracy. ​

Qualifications:

• Injection mould experience is an asset. ​
• CNC programming and machining experience is an asset. ​
• Proficiency with machine shop tools. ​
• Strong mathematical skills. ​
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints. ​
• Experience with Vertical Manual and CNC Milling Machines, Lathes, and Surface Grinders. ​
• Skilled in using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators. ​
• Crane and lift truck experience is an asset. ​
• 2+ years of work experience in an industrial environment is preferred. ​
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions with minimal supervision. ​
