Heavy Equipment Technicians - Edmonton (Winterburn Industrial Area)

Our company is a diversified transportation business serving the oil and gas, forestry and general freight sectors across Alberta since 1980.

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Heavy-Duty Technician to join our team in the Winterburn Industrial area of Edmonton.

Location: Edmonton, AB  (10 Minutes West)

What we offer:

• $45 - 50 /hr
• Full-time position (40 hours/week)
• Monday to Friday, 8-5 pm
• On  call
• Health, dental, prescription and vision care

Job Duties:

• Diagnosing and repairing commercial highway tractors and trailers
• Completing written work orders, including parts used

Required Education / Skills / Qualifications:

• Licensed Journeyman or Red Seal Technician certification
• CVIP certification is an asset
• Welding/fabrication and body work skills are an asset
• Valid driver's license to operate equipment for testing purposes is an asset
• Must have own tools

Training Requirements:

• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Complete in-house WHIMIS.
