Who We Are
Since 1987, our company specializes in all types of institutional projects, commercial, and industrial manufacturing facilities.
We are based in Abbotsford, B.C., but work in the Fraser Valley as well as Surrey, Delta, Coquitlam, and Maple Ridge. We are on site in Surrey and Langley on 8 schools, An Arena Complex, Cold Storage Facility, and several Industrial Manufacturing Warehouse complexes. We also have 2 community center projects in Agassiz, and a school addition in Abbotsford.
About these Positions
We are looking for Apprentice Electricians, 1st year - 4th year.
You will work on interesting and challenging buildings, not in residential sectors. We provide top-notch training to develop your skills and at the same time keep you safe. No UBC, or downtown Vancouver core.
Duties Include:
- Conduit and wire and BX installs
- Distribution and generator equipment
- Fire alarm and low voltage lighting control
- Finishing, including fixtures and devices
- Lighting upgrades
Requirements for Apprentices:
- Electrical Apprentices with 1-3 years of experience
- EMT conduit bending experience would be an asset, but we will teach as needed.
- Have driver's license and own transportation.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Take pride in your achievements.
- Own your own hand tools.
- Have no criminal record (project requirements)
- New Apprentices – Electrical pre-apprentice course or some construction experience.
