We are presently seeking a Truck Trailer Mechanic for our Etobicoke- based trucking company.

Our central 70,000 sq. ft. distribution facility (near the Toronto Pearson Airport) acts as our main consolidation and deconsolidation centre for our service area.

Responsibilities Include:
- Performing Trailer and light mechanical repairs
- Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing
- Electrical systems
- Landing gear assemblies and trailer frames and bodies
- Hitching/coupling systems; suspension systems
- Tires, wheels, hubs and axles; air and auxiliary systems; braking systems
- Conduct annual safety inspections
- Perform general vehicle repairs on electrical and/or mechanical systems
Requirements:
- 310J Trailer Technician Certification preferred.
- Experience in fabrication and welding is an asset
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to perform physical duties such as: lifting, bending, reaching
- Valid drivers license
- Must have your own Mobile Truck with tools
