POSITION: LABORATORY SUPPORT I – Core Lab
Primary Site: Stratford
Regular Part-time
(Shifts: days, evenings, nights, 7 day/week coverage, may be subject to change)

POSITION SUMMARY: Under supervision of the Charge Technologist, the Laboratory Support I performs venous and capillary collection on patients and provides support services to the laboratory.

REPORTS TO: Manager, Laboratory Services

DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible

SALARY: $28.55 to $30.30 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician Certification
-Must possess OSMT and/or CSMLS Lab Assistant Certification

EXPERIENCE:
-Recent related experience in a similar setting preferred.

ABILITIES:
-Familiar with phlebotomy techniques.
-Familiar with all types of blood collection.
-Computer literate.
-Organized and self-directed.
-Works well under supervision and with others.
-Good communication skills.
