Job Summary

Our Brantford branch is currently seeking two Millwrights, a licensed millwright with a Certificate of apprenticeship and certificate of qualification, minimum of 5 years experience, and a 3rd or 4th year apprentice millwright to join our Services Team.

We’re looking for knowledgeable, experienced, and highly motivated individuals who have great work ethic and enjoy working in a team-focused environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of mechanical equipment issues both in-shop and at customer sites
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
• Comprehension of conveyor dynamics and material handling fundamentals
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
• Assemble machinery prior to installation
• Start-up and testing
• Understand and read Engineered Blueprints and drawings
• Shutdown operations
• Rigging and handling
• Bearing, seals, and packing
• Keep work area and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly condition

Requirements:

• Millwright Journeyman or 3rd/4th year Apprentice
• Journeyman must have Certificate of apprenticeship as well as certificate of qualification with minimum 5years experience.
• 3rd/4th year apprentice must be signed with the university of collages and trades.
• Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
• First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate
• WHMIS Certificate
• Welder Trade Certification
• Forklift Operator Certification
