Assistant Operations Coordinator

We are a crop input supplier of fertilizer, crop protection products, seed and services for the agriculture, turf, golf course and residential markets. Headquartered in Bolton Ontario, we have 6 locations across Central Ontario including 2 farm stores to service its diverse customer base.

Position Objective and Scope: 

The Assistant Operations Manager position collaborates with sales and production teams to provide customer service functions. 

This position works to execute the day-to-day order fulfillment of the business at our Baxter/Alliston location.  This would include order placement thru to satisfied delivery experience including knowledge of production processes. 

The key measures of this job are on-time production and delivery of our customer transactions.  As a result, the Operations Co-Ordinator directly contributes to our customer satisfaction score. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Organize daily production orders for fertilizer, crop protection and seed. 
• Support sales by completing customer sales orders, generates field maps/field information to assist in delivery/application solutions. 
• Organize loads and dispatch deliveries in a fast-paced environment. 
• Give directions and organize yard orders, bills of lading, invoices, and statements for order fulfillment. 
• Become fluent in Ag Connection and Ag Logic software used for order processing and history tracking. 
• Play an active role in fertilizer blending, packaging, loading, delivering and applying. 
• Collaborate with others to execute physical inventory counts. 
• This position will be involved and understand all aspects of executing order fulfilment.

• Computer literate, Excel, Word, and Outlook 
• Mechanically inclined an asset 
• DZ, AZ license an asset 
• Agricultural experience an asset 
• Minimum Secondary School education
