Position Title: Auto Parts Store Shipper/Receiver

Location: Dundas, Ontario

Type of Employment: Full-time permanent

Compensation: $17.50 per hour and comprehensive group benefits

Hours

• 40 to 44 hours/week
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating Saturdays

Position Summary

This role is responsible for coordinating delivery drivers for effective dispatching of vehicles, and efficiently check, pick, receive, ship, stock and organize automotive parts. They are also responsible for answering customer questions, maintaining inventory, and cleanliness of the store.

Key Responsibilities  

• Coordinate delivery drivers for effective dispatching of vehicles
• Support all store warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking and organizing)
• Help control inventory and ensure product availability
• Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner
• Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock-related concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet area, workstations and shared spaces neat (organize products, sweep, dust, sanitize and mop)
• Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles
• Occasionally answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner

Key Requirements  

• A valid G Driver’s License and a clean 3-year driver’s abstract required
• Basic math skills and ability to sort alphanumerically
• Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use Outlook, online database and web-based training)
• Picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control and stock maintenance experience an asset
• Driver dispatching experience an asset
• Ability to lift and move 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) to 50 lbs. (22.7 kg) safely and consistently
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, twist, lift and bend on a regular basis
