We are looking to grow our Counter Sales Associate team at our Nanaimo B.C. location

This team is responsible for serving customers at the front counter as well as picking customers’ orders. Successful candidates will be hands-on individuals who have a passion for customer service and aren't afraid of physical work. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify customers’ needs and recommend valuable products
  • Sell spare and replacement parts
  • Answer customer inquiries and advise on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts
  • Handle cash transactions
  • Pick and package customers’ orders in a safe and efficient manner
  • Adhere to company safety policies

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Capable of maintaining a professional image and enhancing customer relationships
  • Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Front counter experience within an industrial industry is not necessary but is considered a definite asset.
