Cleaner / Sanitation Team Member - Night Shift

Role: Sanitation Staff - Heavy Duty Machine Cleaning and Oven Operation

Shift: Night Shift Only - 11pm to 7am

Type: Full Time: 40 Hours per Week + Potential for Overtime

Pay: $18.00/Hour + $1/Hour Night Premium. Full Benefits After 3 Months

Location: 122 Carrier Drive, Etobicoke, Ontario

Start: ASAP 

General Duties:

• Clean mixers, proofers, ovens and all other equipment in the plant;
• Dismantle and mantle all equipment and maintain tools in good condition;
• Following and completing all work orders and submitting them back to the Supervisor
• Swab food contact and non-food contact surfaces after cleaning to gauge effectiveness of cleaning;
• Perform changeovers during shift;
• Maintain clean work area;
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors;
• Dust equipment and vacuum carpeting and area rugs;
• Clean and disinfect food contact and non-food contact surfaces and equipment;
• Pick up and dump debris and empty trash containers;
• Stock supplies and provide basic information on facilities;
• Assisting with the line when required and any additional tasks as directed by the Supervisor
• Perform additional tasks as directed;

Qualifications:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction;
• Must be able to work Friday night and Weekends
• Ability to work in an efficient but safe manner;
• Ability to work with chemicals;
• Strong numeracy skills;
• Ability to lift heavy equipment;
• Willingness to acquire boom truck and fork lift certificate for overhead cleaning;
• Excellent attendance record;
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal);

Shift and work week are subject to change depending on business requirements.
