Reporting to the National Training Manager, this individual is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and implementation of high quality and cost-effective E-Learning solutions.

Reporting to the National Training Manager, this individual is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and implementation of high quality and cost-effective E-Learning solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop appropriate learning assessment strategies and tools to measure the effectiveness of learning programs
- Design, develop and facilitate interactive and engaging training programs to support restaurant and above restaurant training
- Develop partnerships and work collaboratively with SMEs during analysis, design and development to produce quality training materials within established timeframes
- Responsible to ensure continuous improvement of content development methods and processes
- Evaluate, design and develop learning and delivery strategies including leader and participant guides, learning activities, reference guides or job-aids, story boards, video scripts, design documents, E-Learning modules, pre-work, post-work and train-the-trainer materials
- Ensures course material is instructionally sound and supports the intended learning objectives
- Responsible for the integration of eLearning software and the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Administer and maintain the company’s LMS by posting and updating course materials, and other information
- Administer the rollout of provisioning users onto the company LMS system
- Establish instructional design and development standards for all existing and future training materials that support continued quality, speed of delivery, and learning reinforcement
- A minimum of three (2) – three (3) years experience in the following areas: designing, monitoring and measuring learning programs, e-learning, developing materials appropriate for multigenerational audiences; developing content that reaches all learning styles, including older adults and reluctant learners
- Bachelor’s degree in eLearning Instructional Design or Adult Education, or an equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience
- Proven expertise applying Adult Learning models and methodologies to design action-oriented interactive and engaging content outlines, storyboards and simulations for eLearning
- Strong visual design skills - sensitivity to layout, typography and colour
- Expert in MS Office applications, primarily: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher
- Strong experience with standard e-learning development tools: Articulate, Lectora, FLASH; some knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, such as: Acrobat, Connect, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Proficiency using multi-media technology to enhance training / learning experiences
- Strong communication skills
- Able to quickly learn new product releases and industry trends
- Bilingual (English/French) both verbal and written is an asset
