We have provided services on more than 100 projects in Alberta, ranging from singular technology studies, economic feasibility assessments, and front-end engineering through to full EPC/CM execution on thermal recovery facilities ranging from 1,000 barrels per day (BPD) pilot projects to 250,000 BPD multi-phase projects valued in the multi-billion dollar range.

We are now looking to hire a Senior Hardware Support Analyst based out of Pickering, Ontario.

Position Summary
Provides PC support to the client customer base. Responds to service calls placed to the Help Desk.

Core Responsibilities
Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of significant scope and complexity. Works under general supervision following established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, and accuracy. Works primarily with internal company contacts. May infrequently interact with inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters.
  • IT Contact and Customer Relationship SPOC.
  • Liaise with Business Unit Management.
  • Provide operational support, installation and maintenance of infrastructure in local office
  • Perform any special project assignments deemed necessary by IT Management
  • Provide support for all strategic Information Technology systems.
  • Responsible for 2nd line response to users Incidents & Service Requests
  • Responsible for Desk side Support
  • Installation and repair of PC hardware and peripherals
  • Responsible for PCSC budget
  • Responsible for CER coordination for IT related items

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of related experience
  • BA/BS or combination of technical training, certifications, and experience
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and stressful situations is required
  • Take ownership of problems and be proactive in dealing with issues
  • Maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries is essential
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills required
  • Customer Service experience with “people first” approach
