We are an employee-owned professional land surveying firm providing geomatics services to the oil & gas industry and municipalities through our ten offices in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.
Position Description:
Our Edmonton location currently has an opportunity for a Senior Crew Chief. In this field position, you will be leading a survey party operating primarily in Northern Alberta. Guaranteed number of hours per pay period is provided for this position including a benefit and bonus program after the successful completion of a probationary period. Travel out of town will be required.
Qualifications:
Candidates with formal post-secondary training in a Geomatics/Survey program are preferred. However, years of experience will be considered. The successful candidate will be well-versed in the technical operation of Total Station and GPS technology, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a surveyor. You should be familiar with all facets of oilfield surveying; including but not limited to well site Surveys, pipeline Surveys and line locating.
The successful candidate will have a faller’s ticket and a valid driver’s license. You must be physically able to perform the requirements of the job and be willing to work in all types of weather conditions. Safety training (i.e. CSTS, First Aid, H2S, WHMIS, etc.) is required and will be provided as necessary.
