Senior Account Executive
Our client is a Canadian management consulting, technology service and outsourcing corporation. They have extensive experience and expertise in many disciplines within the IT industry. Their primary goal is to assist customers in becoming the most competitive organizations in their fields by applying over 25 years of technology and senior management experience. Their process is designed to allow and require the business to drive technology solutions versus technology driving the end result. They drive this result through a unique approach to consistently and thoroughly by understanding client's business challenge first, and then presenting the appropriate solution. Our client prides itself on being the 'non-consultant' consultants. They only offer services that our associates have extensive field execution experience with. In other words, their people have been in your seat or they don't offer it.
Position Overview
We have an immediate requirement for a Senior Account Executive from our client serving the GTA and surrounding areas. The primary goal of for this position is to prospect and develop new business with new clients versus harvesting existing clients. Our client is looking for a well rounded individual who knows how to work well with a team and is highly customer service focused. This role requires significant sales and prospecting expertise, a highly disciplined work ethic, an aptitude for developing deep trusted client relationships to ensure quarterly and annual targets are met. The candidate will have a proven track record in delivering deals in the datacenter infrastructure space, consulting services and managed services. The candidate will also need experience in long-term contract cloud sales in order to exploit our clients significant and on-going investment in infrastructure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory. The ability to develop new business to uncover opportunities and manage from prospect to close is mandatory. Potential to lead and develop a sales team is a definite plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Spend a minimum of 70% of time meeting in client environments,
- Schedule 1:1 meetings on a weekly basis with manager.
- Manage sales cycle from prospect to close.
- Full accountability for revenue/margin quarterly and annual quotas.
- Leverage your experience and existing contact networks to develop new accounts in your region.
- Develop and maintain individual client plans.
- Reliably and accurately forecast revenue and margin growth potentials quarterly and annually.
- Maintain currency on technical sales certifications.
- Update and create sales proposals in order to close business.
- Work closely with the technical team and management to develop winning solutions and proposals.
- Develop and then maintain strong trusted relationships with C-level executives in your client base.
- Prepare and deliver sales and demonstration presentations in a professional manner.

Technical Skills:
- Strong sales experience with consulting and managed IT services.
- Strong sales experience with SAN, NAS solutions and related hardware, software and services for medium to large data centre environments.
- Strong understanding of the technical/financial benefits of public/ Private cloud computing and the ability to communicate this to prospective clients in order to convert and close business.

Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Computing Science.
- Minimum 7 years of sales experience that is relevant (infrastructure products, consulting services, managed services, and public cloud solutions).
- Proven track record of success in driving margin rich revenue and exceeding quotas while developing and maintaining deep, trusted client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow relationships at the VP and C-level.
- A solid interest and passion for the IT industry and a student of its future.
