Engineer for Product Manager - Automotive Industry

Our client is a supplier to the automotive sector and a leader in the production of assemblies and modules, and fluid management systems. Their philosophy is that the future growth of the corporation is in the development of their employees. They are currently seeking a Program Manager to join their team.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

• Lead in the program management, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) processes
• Develop and conduct project feasibility studies for designs
• Set project goals, monitor objectives and ensure time lines are met
• Prepare and recommend documents for prototypes, new projects, pilots, engineering changes and orders
• Liaise with customers and provide support on project management issues
• Completion of capital, requisition tooling and tryout material for projects
• Assist suppliers in order to meet project goals and deadlines
• Follow up on all aspects of the project from start to finish

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree in Electrical and/ or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technologist, or Tool and Die Maker
• 5 years of experience in a Tier 1 automotive supplier environment
• 5 years of experience managing Ford program required
• Knowledge and experience with CAD
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Advanced computer skills: Windows O/S

 Pay Range

 $70-$80K
